Canon Raging sound monitor 4K

It's been a while since we talk about it and it is now official signed Canon 4K monitor will be available soon. It is called DP-V3010, I saw it at NAB and it looks pretty promising. It is an IPS LCD 10 retro bits lit by LED RGB somewhat the same type of technology used by Dolby PRM monitors for the famous 4220. This is a 30 inches which is really oriented to the monitoring of a standard room for example. He will be able to view the DCI P3 color space / REC 709 / EBU / SMPTE-C. Of course it will display the Log on Canon cameras this brand. The factory calibration is advertised as very accurate. It would be facilitated by the addition of a single probe without a PC. Il sera bien entendu compatible avec les LUT 1D et 3D ainsi que ASC – CDL ( American Society of Cinematographers Colour Decision List ) that seems to be a universal standard. It will be capable of displaying image from frequency 23,98 at 60p which is quite welcome not only because there's little 4K monitors but those who are capable of displaying more 30 i/s sont encore plus rares …

The upscaling to HD and 2K sources is proposed course. A small remote control panel provides access to the settings which is also very convenient.

Convergent Design, ODYSSEY7Q, 4K monitor recorder new generation

ODYSSEY7__rightside

A few days before the opening of the NAB 2013, manufacturers will multiply ads.

DNxHD = .mov, Uncompressed = .dpx, HD/2K Raw = .dng,

Canon Raw = .rmf, ARRIRAW = .ari

HD/2K RGB 444 8/10/12-Bit up to 60p/60psf,

HD/2K YCC 422 8/10-Bit Up to 120p, QHD/4K 422 up to 30fps,

ARRIRAW (16:9) 12-bit up to 60fps, ARRIRAW (4:3) 12-bit up to 48fps,
