Kipon Canon EF lenses on Micro 4/3 with the control diaph !

Birger will not be alone on this land, c’est l’ami Philippo Church friendly Italian cinematographer encountered during the trip to Osaka, which gave me the info. Kipon therefore proposes adapter rings that are a bit all over the box <=> view but one that particularly interests me is the one that allows you to mount Canon EF lenses on micro enclosures 4/3.

For now you can buy them on the bay

How have they managed this feat since unlike other brands, Canon lenses have no mechanical control of the diaphragm ?

Simple, had to think looks like the other, f-stop is the default open 100% they just had to add one in the ring !

    Hello,
Are you sure it works ? Have you tried ? Because if so, it sounds very interesting indeed, that in fact the best adapter ring, not ?
    Thank you for your sharing.

Thank you for the answer, I am obviously very interested as I am aware Novoflex offers nothing equivalent for Canon EF. And this ring is much less expensive than Birger. What is the difference between the two ? I look forward to the feedback. To be continued… Thank you again.

    Thank you for the new.
It will still wait for feedback as a Diaf placed in the ass the last lens group, it is likely to have a good pincushion.

Very “naively”, I thought we could use the autofocus of the Panasonic with this ring. A bit like the ring DMW-MA1.
I have a Canon 50mm f/1.4. It would have been a small price to 100mm.
I really like my DMC-GF1. I ordered the DMC-GH2 but out of stock on Paris…
Precision, I sell the ring without profit. I know that the ring is $ 140 eBay but I have paid the import tax and VAT on arrival French. The possible port is available.
        Although all…
